The question/problem:

I can not, for the life of me take screenshots.
I am running Vista, I have a laptop (toshiba pos if you MUST know. Very new, not even a year, and still...P.o.S.)

I hit, Print Screen.
I hit, Crtl+Print Screen.
I hit, Fn+Print Screen.
I hit, Shift+Print Screen.
I hit, Crtl+Shift+Print Screen.

I do NOT have a screens folder in my GW directory...
and apparently when you take a screen shot (from what I've read of other people...) you get a message saying that it has been saved, where it has been saved, what it was saved AS, and I don't get any of those messages.

When I hit any of the buttons mentioned above, the only thing that happens is that my cursor flashes....o.0

Can someone please tell me if I'm doomed to never have a screen shot in my life??

((If this is in the wrong place, please direct me kindly to the place it needs to be. I was very confused on which portion I could ask this...I don't want to be banned.)

Press F11 and look at controls. Make sure you have Miscellaneous - Screenshot bound to a key.

Because on Vista the Screenshots folder is not in the Guild Wars Directory.

It's in My Documents. And no you cannot simply move it, I've tried. It will continue making screenshots in My Documents even if you move the folder to the directory (But why would you want to?).

And on my laptop you have to push Fn+Print Screen to get a screenshot, but if nothing works then maybe Aera is right, you might have to bind the key, odd though, it comes pre-binded.

I will try both of these methods.
I have checked on the commands in the game, but I didn't see anything for screenshots, but I will certainly check again.

I will also search my documents for the pictures.
I had used the search on my computer for 'screen' so that maybe if they had labeled it 'screenshot' or even the folder 'screens' that it would show up. However, it did not.

Thank you for the suggestions, I will check them immediately and get back to you on whether my problem was fixed or not. ^^;; *is hopeful*
